Why the need to follow TOUs? Do the terms apply to purchased graphics too?

The graphics I offer are all copyrighted, whether they are free or for purchase. Any artist, whether they are a singer, actor, painter, director etc. show off their creative talent in order for their work to be appreciated and recognized. However, none of them would want their work to be distorted or wrongfully edited. Similarly, I offer these graphics because I feel people would benefit from them by using it in their web sites. If you don't follow the terms of use properly, then not only are you misusing the graphics illegally, you are also disrespecting my work. The TOU which I mention are very simple to follow, and takes only a few minutes to go through. I ask that everyone please follow them before using the graphics.

The same applies to purchased graphics too, because by purchasing the graphics, you are owing the right to use them, by not the right to claim them as your own work. The graphics are still copyrighted.

What are link ware, premades, and purchase-ware graphics and what's the difference?

Link-ware: These are graphics that are offered free for anyone to use. The only restriction is to follow my Terms of Use while using them.

Pre-made: Graphics that are offered exclusively for sale only to one person. Adoptions, signature tags, gift sets, are examples of pre-made graphics. An adoption graphic can be bought only by one person, who will also be given a customizable certificate for the adoption. Signature tags are considered as premade graphics, because they are customized personally on each tag with the person's name on it.

Purchase-ware graphics: Graphics that are offered for sale to anyone who wants to buy them. Purchase-ware graphics such as collections and web sets, can be bought by anyone, and is not sold exclusively to only one person.

How do I view the link ware sets? Why is there no preview of the sets before downloading them?

In order to view the link ware sets, you need to download them first. The sets are compressed in .zip format, therefore, in order to extract the files, you need to un compress the zip file through a program such as Win Zip.

Instructions for Win Zip: After downloading win zip, click on the zip file of the set, and click on a button called 'extract'. You will now get an option on where to save the files, and after clicking 'ok', the files will be extracted to that folder. You can close the zip file, and go to the folder containing the gif images. To view the entire set, click on the HTML file to open the page on a web browser and view the files.

I have disabled the use of displaying the web sets on my web site, due to bandwidth stealing. Some people were directly linking the images to my site without uploading the images on their own server, meaning that they were using my bandwidth. In order to prevent this, the sets I offer will only be directly downloadable in zip files.

How do I protect my web site from people saving images of purchased collections that I bought from you?

In order to protect your web site from people copying images from you pages, you need to install scripts in your pages such as a 'no right-click' script, 'no left-click script' and 'disable image toolbar' script. The easiest way of having all these functions on your pages with the push of a button, is by installing a software such as 'HTML Protector'. Click on the name to read more about the software.

However, if you do not wish to spend money on expensive software, you can check out web sites such as 'Lissa Explains it All' or 'Dynamic Drive' to know how to put each script individually on each page.

I had your graphics in my site, but cannot view them all of a sudden. What's wrong?

This is probably because you were directly linking the images directly to my site instead of uploading them to your own. Since I usually change and rename my sub folders, directly linking of images may appear fine one day, but might disappear the next day. Therefore, please upload the files to your own server to prevent graphics from disappearing.

Can I add text to the graphics? How?

You may add text to only those images, that have been mentioned for adding text in the set/collection. To add text, simply open a graphics program, select the text tool and add the text to the image. Even though you are adding text to the image, you still need to follow the Terms of Use while using them.

Is it necessary to use the site logo of that set only to link back to your site?

Not at all. A simple text link is perfectly fine.

When did you open this site and why?

I opened this site in November, 2002 mainly because I loved country graphics. I frequently visited other country graphic artists web site, because I was attracted to their simple, yet unique style of drawing such lovely images from scratch by their mouse. So, I decided to try it out for myself, and opened this web site to share my drawings with others.

Why don't you update more often?

Currently, I work part time and study part time, which restricts my time limit in drawing. However, whenever I do get the time, I always try to add one free set, premades, collections etc. at least once a month.
